​​I spent my youth and young adult years doing marathon sessions of playing soccer, running races, and lifting weights, sometimes for upwards of 2+ hours a day.  I always thought the more the better.  

As for diet….  I really sucked at sticking to any specific diet or meal plan!  I tried cookie cutter meal plans from magazines and even one of those “replace two meals a day with this protein shake and eat rabbit food for dinner” diets.  This only left me frustrated and feeling like a failure.  

A diagnosis of hypothyroidism in 2001 forced me to take a closer look at my own training and nutrition.  All of a sudden, I was putting on weight despite doing a ton of cardio and eating less and less.  

Nothing I tried to lose the weight worked and I no longer had the time or energy to put in all the work I once did.  

I needed to find a new way.  I needed to work a lot smarter.  

So I cut way back on the cardio and focused on my strength workouts.  I created a more balanced eating plan.  And I’m now nearly 3 sizes smaller than I was back in college, all the while exercising less and eating in a way that is both healthy and satisfying.  

The only thing that’s ever worked for me long-term is an intuitive, habits-based approach that allows for treats and flexibility.  

​I don’t think I could give up my chocolate, pizza, and wine!  And I don’t think you should have to give up your favorite foods to live a healthy lifestyle and lose weight either.

​I’m a personal trainer and online health coach with nearly 10 years in the industry working with everyone from busy moms to executives to athletes.  Fitness has been a lifelong pursuit and passion, one that took me to the soccer field in college and led me to this career that I love so much.

Becky has proven herself to be an excellent personal trainer.  She designs workouts that are tailored to my goals.  We’re never in the rut of doing the same exercises over and over.  There is always variety in the workouts and plenty of new, challenging exercises to learn.  

Before I started working with Becky, I could not do a push-up from the floor. Now I can complete three sets of ten push-ups from the floor, which is a huge accomplishment for me.

Q:  What is included in my monthly membership?

A:  With your membership, you receive:

Q:  Do I get access to you everyday?

Q:  Once I purchase my membership, what do I do?

A:  After paying through PayPal, you’ll be automatically sent to a sign-up page for the Sweat & Strength Club email list.  Then you’ll receive an email from me (Becky) with your next steps, including a link to access the private Facebook group and the workouts and info.


Q:  Is there a contract?

A:   No.  This is a month-to-month membership.  Stay as long as you like.  I would recommend staying for at least 3-4 months so you can get the full benefits of the coaching and community provided.  Once you cancel, you will be immediately removed from the SSC Facebook group.

​Q:  What kind of equipment will I need to do the workouts?  I don’t have a gym membership.

A:  Just a few pairs of dumbbells, resistance bands, and a mat are required.  There will be some workouts that will utilize other tools, such as kettlebells, barbells, a pull-up bar, TRX suspension trainer, and gliders.  But you have plenty to choose from regardless of how much or how little equipment that you have on hand.  You don’t need a gym membership, but it’s definitely helpful if you like variety.

​Q:  I have no time to work out!  Just the thought of adding one more thing to my list makes me feel frazzled!  Is now really a good time to do this?

A:  Yes!  There will never be a better time than right now.  Life never seems to settle down like we hope, right?  My workouts are designed to make the most of your time, energize you, and help you handle the stresses of everyday life with greater ease.  And this coaching group allows you to tailor your health and fitness around your busy schedule.  There’s no one who’s going to be a drill sergeant and make you feel bad for not working out every single day.  On the contrary, we’re here to support and encourage each other through any amount of craziness life throws our way.

Q:  Why should I join if I can get tons of workouts and diets online for free?

A:  Anyone can give you a cookie cutter plan, but ultimately it’s up to you to figure out how to make it work for you.  And if you’re like most people, you have questions, concerns, and points of frustration throughout the process.
